Hi, I’m Dr. Maher Alrahamneh, a board-certified internal medicine physician since 2010 and a proud member of the Las Cruces community for over 15 years. At The Internist Clinic, my mission is to transform primary care by focusing on every aspect of your well-being—physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual.
Internists are rare in Las Cruces, and even fewer offer truly comprehensive, personalized care. I go beyond managing chronic conditions to emphasize prevention and longevity medicine, helping you not only live longer but also enjoy a higher quality of life.
My journey began at the University of Jordan in Amman, where I earned my medical degree. I then completed my internal medicine residency at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey, scoring in the top 10% nationally on my board exams. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to hospital medicine, proudly serving the Las Cruces community.

What happen to my care if I cancel?
If you choose to cancel your membership, your relationship with the doctor and clinic will end on the last day of your current payment cycle. After that date, you will no longer have access to clinic services. However, you can
request a copy of your medical records, which we will provide to you so you can transfer them to your new healthcare provider.
